We are extremely proud to announce that our representative, instructor, and alumnus of the Szczecin HUSARIA Dojo —Senpai Olek Ambroziak—won the kumite competition at the 45th International Shidokan Karate Championships, held in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, on November 9, 2025.

For Olek, this was a special start—as an Uchideshi (individual student), he represented the Ohishi Dojo and Hanshi Daigo Ohishi, President of the IKO World So-Kyokushin. Winning in the homeland of karate, among the best competitors from Japan and other countries, is a tremendous achievement, demonstrating not only excellent technical skills but also fighting spirit, determination, and fidelity to the principles of Budo.

The championships brought together leading representatives of the Shidokan style from around the world. Among those seated in the honorary box were, among others, Hanshi Daigo Ohishi and Shihan Yoshiji Soeno himself, the founder of the Shidokan style. The presence of such distinguished figures gave the competition a unique dimension.

Senpai Olek's victory is not only a personal success for the competitor but also a great source of pride for our entire community. It is proof that hard work, systematic training, and humility towards the path lead to the highest achievements.

Congratulations, Senpai Olek! Thank you for representing Poland with dignity, for your commitment, and for inspiring all who follow the path of Kyokushin Karate.
